Sushi Mountain Chef and Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef and Kitchen Manager to join our team at Sushi Mountain. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and attention to detail.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing our kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that our customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus that showcase our unique sushi offerings and exceed customer expectations
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction
- Monitor and control kitchen costs to ensure profitability
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
