Industrial Automation Sales Representative

Vention Inc is a leading provider of industrial automation solutions, headquartered in Montreal, Canada. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in helping businesses seize the opportunities around industrial automation and business transformation.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or robotics sales, with excellent communication skills in English and a passion for customer success. The role involves working both inbound and outbound leads to target client accounts, building skills as an expert in discovery calls, sales process, qualification methodology, product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing.
- This is a full-time position that requires regular travel to client sites and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- You will be responsible for managing a qualified pipeline, leading project discoveries with customers, and working closely with Vention's Application Engineers to manage the development of projects using our 3D MachineBuilder design tool and MachineLogic simulation tool.
A strong understanding of sales tools such as Gong, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Salesforce, Seismic, is considered an asset. You will also collaborate with leadership to develop new strategies to grow the sales pipeline and consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and prospecting;
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop effective solutions;
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies;
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Vention Inc offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible paid time off, remote work policies, comprehensive health plans, and fun-filled social events.
