We are seeking a skilled Support Services Coordinator to join our team at One Kids Place. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Salary: $24.91 - $30.90 per hour
About the RoleThe Support Services Coordinator will work closely with children, youth, and families to provide support and coordination services. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with children, youth, and families to develop and implement support plans
- Provide information and resources to families on various topics, including child development, education, and community services
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists, doctors, and teachers, to ensure comprehensive care for children and youth
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and organizations to access resources and services for families
- Assist with the planning and implementation of community events and programs
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work or child and youth care
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a supportive capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
