At Vision Group, we're proud to be a North American leader in vision correction. As a Technical Productivity Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and development, supporting over 12 brands and more than 70 clinics across Canada and the United States.
The Microsoft 365 Manager role is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of productivity tools and systems within the organization. You will lead collaboration efforts across different departments to ensure a smooth integration of Microsoft 365 solutions.
This is a hands-on managerial role, where you will spend at least 75% of your time performing operational and technical tasks. You will have flexible hours because we recognize the need to balance work with life.
We offer an excellent compensation package, including a salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description
- You will align the use of the platform's tools with senior management's strategic plan.
- You will collaborate with various business units to align the platform with their specific needs and act as the primary point of contact for all platform-related inquiries.
- You will actively participate in operational tasks and resolve complex technical issues, dedicating at least 75% of your time to technical and operational tasks.
- You will plan and execute platform development projects from design to completion, creating project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- You will identify and implement improvements to optimize platform performance by conducting regular assessments and gathering feedback to guide continuous improvements.
- You will develop and deliver training programs for users to maximize platform usage and provide ongoing support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- You hold a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have significant experience, at least 5 years, in platform management, software development, or a similar role.
- You are bilingual (French and English) as you will need to communicate with unilingual English-speaking employees in other provinces.
- You have proven leadership skills, project management experience, and a strong mastery of Microsoft 365 productivity tools, with a demonstrated track record in managing a small team.
