Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at TelcoBridges Inc. in Boucherville, QC.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThe Technical Support Specialist will provide technical assistance to customers worldwide relating to the use of our products. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with customers to identify issues and advising on solutions
- Providing identification, diagnosis, and resolution to technical problems
- Documenting technical issues encountered and sharing with the R&D team
- Documenting technical topics for customers to be self-taught
- Working as a field engineer to visit customers for interoperability tests, system deployment, or problem resolution
- Providing technical trainings to customers
- Providing technical sales support
- Writing ruby scripts for routing applications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and effective communication skills.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- Degree holder in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunications preferred
The following skills are essential:
- Knowledge of Telecom, SBC, and VoIP
- Knowledge and hands-on skills in Linux and networking
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Mature, self-motivated, organized, responsible, and able to work autonomously
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel to customer sites 4-8 weeks a year
