This role provides administrative support to a multidisciplinary team at our clinic in Victoria, BC. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Provide clerical support services, including transcribing medical dictation, operating a switchboard, and entering data into computer systems.">
  • Maintain client charts, schedules, and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.">
  • Typing non-technical material, such as general correspondence, forms, and lists, using word processing software.">
  • Arrange meetings, record minutes, and distribute meeting materials as required.">
  • Maintain supplies, stationery, and office equipment, ordering as needed.">
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by reporting hazards, accidents, and near misses.">
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • Grade 12 graduation from an approved program in medical transcription or equivalent combination of education and experience.">
  • Ability to keyboard at 60 wpm.">
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism principles.">
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.">

Compensation
