Psychiatric Nurse Specialist

About This Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Homewood Ravensview, a private 75-bed mental health, trauma and addiction facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct health care services to patients presenting with complex addictions and mental health issues
- Perform physical, addiction, and mental status assessments and refer patients to the physician for further examination
- Observe, monitor, evaluate and document patient progress, symptoms and behavioral changes
- Implement the principles and practices of a patient and family centered recovery model in mental health and addictions treatment
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or College Diploma from an accredited Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program
- Two years' recent related experience in a mental health and/or substance use setting
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals
