We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott Barrie.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to executives, committees, and boards of directors. This includes establishing and coordinating administrative policies and procedures, analyzing reports, preparing briefs, and making arrangements for meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and coordinate administrative policies and procedures for officials, committees, and boards of directors;
  • Analyze incoming and outgoing memoranda, submissions, and reports and prepare summary briefs and reports;
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings;
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation;
  • Liaise with departmental and corporate officials, organizations, and associations on behalf of executives, committees, and boards of directors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or a related field;
  • Flexible and dependable;
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Quick learner and hardworking;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
