Business Development Manager

At Farm Business Consultants, our roots run deep in rural communities, where we've thrived since 1952. Our mission is to partner with our Members (Clients) by easing the burden of managing their businesses through comprehensive tax and accounting services, alongside expert advice. We take a holistic approach, offering a full range of support, including bookkeeping, legal assistance, payroll, and access to financial and estate planning professionals. This well-rounded support allows our Members to focus on what truly matters: running their businesses and enriching their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships within the local business community.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products to Members.
- Plan and execute local sales and marketing activities.
- Lead professional services teams, ideally within tax or accounting.
Requirements:
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience in staff recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Proficiency in tax preparation & accounting software, preferably with Tax Prep and Xero.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for out-of-town travel.
