About the Role

We are seeking a Team Lead (Experienced) Mortgage Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be a motivated self-starter who will thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

You will manage multiple mortgage agents, nurture and develop them, deliver exceptional response times, and increase efficiency within the process. You will be accessible to them, monitor their performance, and provide advice. You will motivate them to perform their duties well and problem-solve.

A Typical Week

  • Manage your pipeline to ensure service standards and financial goals are met.
  • Work with mortgage agents to establish and foster relationships and help them make informed decisions for their clients.
  • Oversee the entire mortgage process for each mortgage agent, from initial contact to completion, including application, document collection, lender submission, condition fulfillment, and closing activities.
  • Ensure proper follow-up is given to each mortgage agent throughout the mortgage process.
  • Stay informed on trends and developments in the local real estate market, as well as changing rules and regulations, pertaining to both private and government-insured mortgages, and advise mortgage agents accordingly.
  • Be accessible at all times to your team members.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we are looking for:

  • Driven, motivated, self-starter, problem-solver, organized, great communicator.
  • Experience: High School Diploma, Mortgage Agent License, 1-3 years of experience as a Mortgage Agent/broker.
  • Previous leadership experience is an asset.
