Job Summary

As a Slot Attendant/Supervisor with Great Canadian Entertainment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our slot machines. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to slot players, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the slot machines, ensuring they are functioning properly and making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Verify and pay off jackpots, cancel credits, and clear bill and ticket jams.
  • Act as a liaison between slot players and the casino management team, communicating any issues or concerns.
  • Perform routine procedures, such as adding paper to printers, resetting machines, and restocking ticket paper.
  • Assist with promotional activities and events, helping to create a positive and engaging experience for our customers.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Strong understanding of slot operations and gaming policies an asset.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Second language an asset.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Exposure to some noise.
  • Flexible schedule with non-traditional work hours, including early morning shifts, weekend shifts, and holidays.
