Slot Attendant - CNB Part Time

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Slot Operation, this position will provide exceptional customer service while overseeing the slot machines in a specified area of the casino, assisting customers with jackpot payouts, and addressing issues related to the machines. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example, and supports a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all GCE and NBLGC policies as they relate to the position's functions
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of slot machines
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service
  • Verify and process jackpots, short pays, cancelled credits, and hand-pay
  • Comply with policies and procedures for all notable and significant cash/cash equivalent transactions
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and pleasant environment for customers
  • Perform hopper fills
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed
Requirements:
  • High School diploma; post-secondary education an asset
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Second language an asset
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible with work schedule
