Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of Slot Attendants on the gaming floor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive gaming experience for all guests, while also maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line customer service liaison, answering questions and assisting with orientation of games and the facility.
  • Motivate, develop, and supervise Slot Attendants on the floor, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Participate in a professional, constructive, and supportive environment for all Casino staff, with a focus on open communication and teamwork.
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to ensure guests have an enjoyable gaming experience.
  • Report issues to the Slot Shift Manager and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Sign jackpots and cancelled credits, and clear bill and ticket jams to maintain game integrity.
  • Actively seek out and address customer needs and machine problems, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
  • Assist with awareness of and excitement for on-going and up-coming Casino promotions.
  • Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies, and procedures, and report any violations or concerns to the appropriate level.
  • Acquire and maintain a strong knowledge of all Slot operations policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Manage other initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Slot experience, preferably with previous supervisory experience.
  • Food Safety Certification.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Manual dexterity, technical aptitude, and trouble-shooting ability are assets.
  • Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset.

Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular casino environment, with standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, and non-traditional work hours.
