Job Summary

As a Slot Attendant/Supervisor with Great Canadian Entertainment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our slot machines and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our casino.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and pay off jackpots and cancel credits, ensuring accurate and timely payouts to our guests.
  • Monitor and observe slot players and machines, providing assistance and guidance as needed to maintain game integrity and resolve disputes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on slot machines, including clearing bill and ticket jams, checking game and voucher histories, and resetting machines after jackpot processing.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with promoting and communicating casino promotions and events to our guests, ensuring they are aware of and excited about our offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives and support the overall success of our casino.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Strong understanding of slot operations and gaming policies, with ability to apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, with exposure to some noise and distractions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compliance Requirements

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to internal controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of any issues or concerns, escalating to management as necessary.
