Food Service Supervisor

At Tony's Pasta & Seafood House, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards of our restaurant.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive experience for all customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
