Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Manage Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all food safety procedures are followed.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
