We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MJ Thorpe Restaurants Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
- Manage Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all food safety procedures are followed.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
- Transportation: Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
