Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Tony's Pasta & Seafood House, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of 3-4 staff members in the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimating ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as preparing food order summaries for the chef.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team.
