About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst III to join our Global Operations and Business Services team at TD Securities. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering continued business success through leadership, collaboration, innovation, and forward-thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the bank to ensure operational readiness and timely delivery of projects.
  • Process, manage, and maintain client and credit limit data in various systems for new and existing clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze and resolve exceptions from reconciliation processes, providing prompt and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with business requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and processes, as well as support junior staff in completing business-as-usual functions.
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
  • Validate operational readiness activities and cutover planning for projects nearing go-live, communicating status to management.
  • Assist with gathering data for internal auditors and other control areas as required.
  • Escalate known issues to appropriate business or technology partners, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contribute to building a positive, diverse, and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness and keeping colleagues informed on routine activities.
Requirements
  • University or college degree with relevant experience.
  • Sound knowledge of trading businesses, operating environment, business processes, and procedures, as well as the transaction lifecycle for Client Data Services.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively train and communicate with colleagues.
  • Motivated to learn quickly and deliver on business deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook).
  • VBA and technical skills are an asset.
