Collateral Analytics Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Collateral Analytics Senior Analyst to join our team at TD, a global leader in the financial services industry. As a key member of our Collateral Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in mitigating counterparty credit risk and ensuring the integrity of our processes.
Key Responsibilities- Investigation and Resolution of Valuation Discrepancies: You will investigate, escalate, and resolve valuation discrepancies to ensure that the bank is accurately collateralized.
- Risk Appetite Management: You will support the risk appetite of the bank by providing guidance and monitoring day-to-day operations within the team regarding Collateral Risk processes.
- Project Participation and Leadership: You will participate and add value to projects impacting the Collateral Management Department, including leading committee presentations to senior management.
- Policy Reporting and Analysis: You will prepare policy reports and analyze data to inform business decisions.
- Collateral Optimization: You will identify opportunities to optimize collateral usage and reduce risk.
- Cross-Training and Development: You will cross-train to develop a broad level of understanding across the varied functions within CRC.
- Conflict Resolution and Negotiation: You will use your conflict resolution and negotiation skills to collaborate across internal and/or external groups/partners.
- Risk Management and Process Improvement: You will proactively manage risk and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce operational risk.
- Capital Market Experience: You will have at least two years of capital market experience or relevant collateral management experience.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to management.
- Analytical Skills: You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Financial Knowledge: You will have knowledge of financial instruments, regulations, and market risk metrics.
- Technical Skills: You will be proficient with Microsoft applications and have programming skillsets such as VBA, Python, SQL.
- Education: You will have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or another quantitative discipline.
- Certifications: CFA and/or FRM would be considered an asset.
