About the Role:

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our Commercial team in the greater Winnipeg area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and prospecting long-term, profitable customer relationships within your assigned territory and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by effectively managing a large geographic territory and maximizing business potential.
  • Build an account base by demonstrating products, services, and technical product solutions to design-build contractors, mechanical installers, and end-users.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to ensure that solutions are offered, sold, and followed through with.
  • Enter all customer opportunities into Salesforce and actively manage and maintain opportunity status.
  • Collect customer requirements to quote Request for Proposals from customers including drawings, specifications, and contract terms.
  • Facilitate communications between AGI's Quote Team and end-users to ensure accurate cost estimating.
  • Work with internal departments and/or divisions to solve problems and develop solutions for customer accounts.
  • Strategize with management to locate and maximize sales opportunities and provide feedback to ensure we remain competitive in the market.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated sales or customer service achievements preferably in the Agri-Industry Sector.
  • Possess sales and business acumen, ideally coupled with an Ag Business, Marketing, or Technical degree, or equivalent commensurate experience.
  • Solid sales and marketing capabilities, with a good understanding of market segmentation, product line profitability analysis, and new product development.
  • Proven history of managing a complex technical product line.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail.
  • Superior customer relationship skills, including active listening.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
