Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Asian Television Network inc.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, reviewing financial transactions, and ensuring timely payment from clients. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and collecting payments
  • Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure timely payment from clients, including follow-up on overdue accounts
  • Perform foreign currency exchange and store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare reports and provide financial data to management as required
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Private sector experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic security clearance
  • Own transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Sage Accounting Software experience
  • Word processing and accounting software skills
  • Database and data analysis software experience
  • Electronic mail and spreadsheet skills
  • MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word experience
Work Environment:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work accurately, and maintain a high level of organization.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
