About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Smith + Andersen. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will be responsible for managing complex projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare and review project reports, proposals, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage and maintain project records, including documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, including building automation systems and intelligent integrated systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
