Experienced Remediation Project Coordinator

WSP Canada is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Remediation Project Coordinator to join our national Remediation Program Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the risk and closure of contaminated sites in Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare health and safety plans and emergency response plans.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
- Schedule field staff and subcontractors.
- Compile data for reports.
- Write reports including preparing conclusions and recommendations.
- Conduct occasional field work including soil, groundwater, surface water and vapour investigations, monitoring programs and overseeing site remediation.
- Train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation etc.
Requirements:
- University degree or above in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in contaminated site assessment, soil and groundwater sampling.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in an engineering consulting environment.
- Analytical mind; someone who is able to make recommendations on the next steps for client sites.
- Willingness to grow your career within the RPM team.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and with multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
