Environmental Remediation Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Project Coordinator to join our Remediation Program Management team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating contaminated site remediation projects, working closely with project managers, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate contaminated site remediation projects, including preparing health and safety plans, emergency response plans, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Schedule field staff and subcontractors, compile data for reports, and write reports, including preparing conclusions and recommendations.
- Conduct occasional field work, including soil, groundwater, surface water, and vapour investigations, monitoring programs, and overseeing site remediation.
- Train junior staff in environmental practices, including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, and oversight of remediation.
- Collaborate across the national RPM team and WSP, inspiring team commitment to our Company Guiding Principles and Vision.
- University degree or above in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in contaminated site assessment, soil and groundwater sampling.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in an engineering consulting environment.
- Analytical mind, with ability to make recommendations on next steps for client sites.
- Willingness to grow career within the RPM team.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation preferred.
