Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at NAKANO SMITH. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our staff, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Office Organization: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the office, including the filing system and inventory management.
  • Coordination: Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events, including making travel arrangements and preparing agendas.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, staff, and external partners.
  • Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will work in a law firm environment and will be required to travel occasionally.
