Vice President of Finance and Administration

Great Plains College is seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Vice President, Finance and Administration in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the college, ensuring accurate and complete financial records are maintained, and implementing effective financial reporting systems. They will also manage annual audits and regulatory reviews, oversee facilities maintenance and management, and develop IT strategies to support institutional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the finance, facilities, and information technology departments
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage budgets and financial resources to achieve optimal results
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of college facilities and infrastructure
  • Develop and implement IT strategies to support institutional goals

Requirements:

A minimum of five years' experience as a senior administrator, a university degree in a relevant discipline, and an accounting designation (Chartered Professional Accountant) are required for this position.
