Global Asset Management Sales Leader

Are you a results-driven sales leader looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Sun Life Global Investments as a Global Asset Management Sales Leader.
About the Role
This external role works within wealth distribution under the brand of Sun Life Global Investments, offering a line-up of unique world-class investment solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving results and expanding market share in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for all products (mutual funds, segregated funds, annuities) by leveraging established relationships while prospecting for new advisor relationships.
- Develop and execute an unmatched advisor experience conducted via sales meetings and investor seminars.
- Represent and promote Sun Life Global Investments in the local financial community by developing strong business relationships with advisors and industry associations.
Business Development Strategies
We are looking for someone who can develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve sales results and increase market share. This includes:
- Identifying sales opportunities through new or existing partnerships.
- Monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Leadership and Teamwork
You will provide leadership to your team consisting of the Wealth Sales Representative and Wealth Sales Coordinator, working closely with Regional Vice President and fellow Wealth Sales Directors to define, promote and share best practices.
Requirements
- IIROC/FSB/MFDA/MGA industry sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of mutual funds, investment products, and financial markets.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Professional Financial Planner (PFP), Chartered Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Investment Management (CIM) designations are an asset.

Compensation Package
We offer a competitive base salary along with an aggressive variable compensation plan that rewards performance based on the achievement of outstanding sales results. The estimated annual salary for this position is $130,000 - $200,000 CAD, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to grow their career in asset management sales.
