We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Senior Financial Operations Director. Located in Regina, Saskatchewan, this role will offer you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our organization's financial performance.
About the Role:
- As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will oversee and integrate the critical functions of finance, information technology, and human resources.
- Reporting directly to our President & Chief Executive Officer, you will ensure financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and alignment of IT and HR strategies with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Financial ManagementYou will lead the development and implementation of financial and procurement strategies to support our organization's goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Managing and optimizing cash flow, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Analyzing financial performance and providing actionable insights to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audits, and tax requirements and reporting standards.
You will lead the development and implementation of our IT strategy to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management to support business operations.
- Evaluating and implementing technology solutions to improve productivity and decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with IT governance and security standards.
You will oversee HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
- Leading workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Driving initiatives to build a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workforce culture aligned with our organization's mission and values.
You will oversee governance and risk management by developing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and technological risks.
- Overseeing business continuity planning across finance, IT, and HR.
- Acting as the primary liaison with auditors, financial institutions, technology partners, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience including oversight of finance, IT, and HR functions.
- Proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership.
- Strong financial acumen, forecasting, analytical skills, and operational risk management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
