Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating new menus, considering food costing and seasonal availability
- Prepare and cook all menu items and features
- Properly portion and cut meats
- Ensure food service standards and quality requirements are met
- Receive and verify product orders
- Manage inventory levels and communicate discrepancies to the Executive Chef
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and tidy kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Knowledge of all cuts of meat
- Red Seal Occupational Standard an asset
- Experience in food costing, menu execution, and inventory control an asset
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with and without supervision
- Food Safety Course an asset
