Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in providing instruction and academic support to students, ensuring they stay on track and focused.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with teachers to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and participate in data-driven decision-making to support student success.
  • Organize classroom materials and resources to facilitate student learning and achievement.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including tasks such as preparing materials and coordinating events.
  • Participate in school-wide meetings, programs, and events to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Education Assistance or related field preferred; relevant work experience also considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.


Working Conditions

This full-time position requires a 7.5-hour workday, Monday through Friday, during the school year.



Compensation

Salary range: Level I - $13.10 - $15.35 per hour, Level II - $14.41 - $16.87 per hour (for certified teachers).
