We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Nuclear Project Director to join our team in leading New Build projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on various major projects for internal and external clients.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Company Overview

Our Nuclear Canada business is experiencing significant growth driven by planned New Build projects internationally and domestically. As part of AtkinsRéalis, we have entered into an agreement with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to deliver the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP).

Your Role within the Team:

  • Project Leadership: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Define the project scope and deliverables in compliance with contract documents and client requirements.
  • Team Management: Assemble and lead a multidisciplinary project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Manage all aspects of contract administration, including scope and change control, subcontractor and supplier management, and risk management.
  • Nuclear Safety: Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality requirements. Develop and enforce safety programs, training, and corrective action plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Project Delivery: 10+ years of experience leading or supporting projects in construction, manufacturing, or engineering services.
  • Nuclear Supply Chain: Understanding of nuclear supply chain and materials management principles.
  • Leadership: Lead by example, setting high standards for Health & Safety and Nuclear Safety Culture.
  • Quality Assurance: Appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs.
  • Nuclear Experience: Experience in Nuclear Reactor new design and construction projects required.
