Senior Nuclear Program Manager

Snc-Lavalin, a leading engineering and construction company, is seeking an experienced Senior Nuclear Program Manager to lead our Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP). This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in nuclear project delivery and management to drive success in the deployment of the GEH BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor.
As a Senior Nuclear Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, and construction. Your leadership skills and experience in managing large teams will be essential in developing and executing work execution plans, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear project delivery, with a proven track record of success in leading complex projects from conception to completion. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $125,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the project team in developing and executing work execution plans, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Manage all aspects of contract administration, including scope and change control, subcontractor and supplier management, and risk management.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and progress.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in nuclear project delivery, with a proven track record of success in leading complex projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with nuclear safety culture and regulatory requirements.
