Aecon Concessions is a leading Canadian infrastructure development company, committed to safely and sustainably building what matters for future generations. As a Project Director - Nuclear Infrastructure Development, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex nuclear projects.

About the Role

This position involves overall accountability for the progression of planning and readiness activities related to Pickering RFBR' Steam Generator Replacement (SGR) Mechanical works. You will provide leadership and alignment for all activities related to the SGR Mechanical works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example to ensure a collaborative approach for internal, external, cross-JV and client-facing interactions.
  • Ensure the delivery of all scope in accordance with safety standards, on time, on budget and compliant with the Contract.
  • Provide regular and accurate progress updates to the Project Director, CanAtom Project Controls and the client for reporting purposes.
  • The Project Manager is accountable for the cost & schedule adherence and management of threats and opportunities, including timely escalation.
Requirements:
  • 5 - 10 years of related experience, ideally in Mechanical in nuclear environment.
  • Quantitative, Engineering or Construction Management Post-Secondary Degree.
  • Detail Oriented Approach, Focused on Quality.
  • EPC Contractor Experience.
  • Construction Field Experience in nuclear environment.
