Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nuclear Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating multi-discipline work groups and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

You will work closely with stakeholders and process owners to identify and mitigate risks, develop project plans, and coordinate with design teams, construction managers, and other project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including those related to safety, quality, and schedule
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario and membership in good standing
  • Working knowledge of CANDU design and plant system design, as well as CSA N286
  • Detailed understanding of client-specific ECC processes and governance procedures
  • Working knowledge of Asset Suite Work Management software
  • Modification Team Lead qualification
