Job Title:

Senior Technical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Rodan Energy Solutions. As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical guidance and expertise on electrical and instrumentation areas of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare or help prepare specifications for purchasing requisitions for material, services, and equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance, solve problems, and coordinate technical work as required in a number of major work areas in support of the design, commission, operation, and maintenance of a nuclear facility.
  • Perform detailed design, manage engineering and design activities of multi-disciplinary projects in the client's nuclear sites from concept to commissioning in Electrical and I&C areas.
Requirements:
  • You must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario.
  • You should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • You should have 5-10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Projects' Detailed Design experience.
  • You should possess strong knowledge of physics, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, electricity, engineering, and economics.
  • You should have advanced knowledge of one or more of these subjects to evaluate and propose improvements to processes, equipment, and systems or to unit safety, reliability, and performance.
  • You should have worked with thorough understanding and knowledge in a broad range of electrical and instrumentation areas in projects.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location:

This role is based in Pickering, ON, and requires frequent travel to client sites.
