Job Summary:
A Territory Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing customer and prospective customer relationships to drive market growth for Johnston Equipment's material handling equipment and services in a given territory.
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain constant contact with customer base through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails.
• Identify and create new business opportunities for Johnston Equipment's products and services.
• Present product information to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and new offerings.
• Represent Johnston Equipment and promote all services and divisions to customers.
• Provide consulting services to customers on their material handling needs.
Key Performance Indicators:
• Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Identify and convert competitive users and non-users to Johnston customers.
Requirements:
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
• Secondary School or University Degree/College Diploma an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience required, with a preference for candidates with flooring or building material experience.
• Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals.
• Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
• Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
• Self-motivated, with high energy and enthusiasm.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
