Territory Sales Manager

At STERIS, we strive to create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science solutions. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by meeting sales goals, growing market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual business plans for assigned territories, including opportunity development, competitive strategies, and targets to drive sales growth.
- Maintain and grow market share of designated products and services.
- Analyze and improve sales performance, identifying areas for growth and development.
- Negotiate customer agreements, leveraging the complete product and service offering from STERIS.
- Build and maintain consultative sales relationships with key buying influences in each account.
- Develop relationships with customers in various departments, including MDRD, OR, and GI.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in B2B or medical device sales.
- Successful history of selling new products, increasing product utilization, and protecting existing market share.
- Experience in medical and consumable equipment sales, with a focus on GI, SPD, and Environmental Services.
- Understanding of the hospital buying process, including National Accounts, GPO, and Distributors.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-level relationships and negotiate customer agreements.
- Executive presence and excellent presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and business acumen skills, with knowledge of healthcare and consumable products.
- Ability to travel as necessary and possess a valid driver's license.
