Job Title: District Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to join our team at Acosta Canada Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a team of Sales Representatives, managing sales in Big Box and Grocery accounts, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform business decisions.
  • Provide coaching and training to Sales Representatives to improve sales skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of prior management experience in retail, merchandising, training, sales, and/or field marketing.
  • Previous experience in retail sales and merchandising management in Grocery & "big box" strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills utilizing the internet, email, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Natural ability to lead a team in a manner that will build team morale and accomplish objectives.
  • Outgoing, professional personality with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and with little supervision, while exercising ethical and professional business practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside your territory when required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
