Job Summary

Webber is seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our roadways and other infrastructure assets.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure assets to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Traffic Control: Set up and remove traffic control devices, including cones, message boards, and temporary signage, to ensure safe traffic flow.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including bucket trucks, scaffolding, and aerial platforms, to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Vegetation Management: Maintain the appearance and growth of vegetation along roadways and other infrastructure assets.
  • Sign and Guardrail Maintenance: Repair and replace signs, guardrails, and other safety features to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Winter and Summer Operations: Participate in winter and summer operations, including snow removal and sanding, to ensure safe road conditions.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for emergency response rotations, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and good driving record required. CDL, DOT/MTO certifications, and electrical and welding certifications highly desirable.
Work Environment

Work will be performed in a variety of environments, including outdoors in extreme weather conditions, and in confined spaces.

Physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
