Road Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ferrovial. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our road infrastructure assets, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our transportation network.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roads, highways, and other infrastructure assets, including bridges, tunnels, and vegetation management.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial platforms, to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of infrastructure assets to identify areas of concern and develop maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including concrete and asphalt repair.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, and will be exposed to traffic and other hazards. The ability to work safely and effectively in these conditions is essential.
