Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our Infrastructure Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing roads and other infrastructure assets to ensure they are safe and functional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roads, bridges, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, excavators, and cranes to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct inspections of roads and infrastructure assets to identify potential issues and develop plans for maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve the safety and functionality of roads and infrastructure assets.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • CDL, DOT/MTO certifications, and electrical and welding certifications highly desirable.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be outdoors, with frequent exposure to traffic and weather conditions. The employee will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces. The employee will also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position include standing, sitting, walking, and using hands and fingers to handle and feel objects. The employee will also be required to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and use manual and powered tools and equipment. The employee will need to have good vision, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
