Business Development Representative

We are working on behalf of a fast-growing tech company that is building the world's largest live directory of local businesses. This platform helps sales professionals easily access and query millions of unstructured business data, such as websites, product catalogs, reviews, and social media profiles.
Job SummaryThis role involves prospecting for potential customers using various outreach methods like cold calling, social media, email campaigns, and more. The goal is to identify prospects that are ready to move forward in the sales process by understanding their business needs and pain points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify potential customers through outreach methods and explore opportunities through trade shows, conferences, and online communities to generate leads.
- Qualifying: Research potential customers to determine if they're a good fit for the company's solutions.
- Educating: Act as a trusted advisor, educating prospects on how the company's products and services can meet their specific business needs.
- Moving Leads: Schedule the next steps with a sales representative and ensure a smooth handoff.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of interactions with prospects and customers.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to new situations, and thrive on multitasking. They should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident in taking the lead.
