High-Performing Sales Director

We're seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our Outbound Retail POS Sales team at Lightspeed. Your primary objective will be to spearhead and inspire a motivated sales team, ensuring the region consistently exceeds monthly revenue targets, customer acquisition goals, and other strategic KPIs.
As a key member of our organization, you'll drive operational excellence through process optimization, new channel development, launching strategic initiatives, and continuously elevating team performance. This involves fostering a culture of growth and success, managing and developing high-performing sales teams, and overseeing the growth of people managers.
Your responsibilities will include driving sales training and development programs to elevate the skills and capabilities of the broader sales team. You'll also lead customer and revenue acquisition efforts and strategic focus in the region, ensuring the region continually exceeds revenue and other key performance targets.
You'll perform regular reporting and analysis to support a data-driven sales strategy, focusing on key metrics such as throughput, processes, and results to drive sales performance. Collaboration with the Revenue Operations team is essential to align on goals and optimize sales processes.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses exceptional leadership capability, inspiring and motivating large and dynamic sales teams. With a hands-on and proactive approach, you'll manage diverse stakeholders and possess extensive experience growing and leading large sales teams.
A relevant background in retail, IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, or technology is essential. Thorough experience in analyzing and reporting on metrics and data, compiling reports, and directing high-performing outbound sales teams in a high-velocity environment is required.
You should be able to shift easily between high-level strategic talks and basic operational tasks and work in a flexible environment. We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated salary of $90,000 CAD per year, and immediate access to our benefits plan.
