Salary

We offer an attractive salary package, with an estimated annual compensation of $100,000 CAD, based on industry standards and location in Camrose, Alberta. In addition to your base salary, you will have unlimited earning potential through variable compensation.

Job Description

As a Senior Portfolio Manager at the Royal Bank of Canada, you will have the opportunity to grow and manage a portfolio of mass affluent clients, providing ongoing comprehensive reviews of their financial circumstances and creating long-term relationships through superior advice and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailor-made financial planning advice and help clients reach their goals using our array of investment, credit, and everyday banking solutions.
  • Actively grow, expand, and maintain your portfolio of clients using value-based relationship management practices and achieve performance targets.
  • Cultivate relationships with service partners and local markets to optimize business opportunities and referrals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Financial Planning Designation (QAFP, PFP, or CFP).
  • A Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in financial planning.
  • A strong financial acumen, along with proven networking, client acquisition, and relationship management skills and track record of partnering and collaboration.
  • The ability to create a market presence, build COI relationships, and cultivate strong partner relationships.
