About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Fergie's Bakery & Convenience. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, including grocery clerks and shelf stockers.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise.
    • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve store performance.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail sales or customer service role.
  • Work Setting
