About the Role

At Mechways Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. As an essential member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Implementation: You will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: As a delegated work authority, you will oversee the work of office support staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Task Prioritization: You will establish clear work priorities and ensure that all administrative activities are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Record Management: You will administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in accordance with government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Office Operations: You will coordinate and plan for various office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: You will assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Documentation: You will assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence as required.
  • Process Oversight: You will oversee and coordinate all office administrative procedures.
