We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team at WHEELSAZ. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing procedures, and delegating tasks to office support staff. They will also establish work priorities, ensure procedures are followed, and meet deadlines. In addition, they will carry out administrative activities, administer policies and procedures related to record release, coordinate office services, and assist in preparing operating budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures and review existing ones to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff and oversee their work to ensure high-quality results.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities such as data entry, report preparation, and correspondence.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to record release under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Coordinate office services including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in preparing operating budgets and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
