About the Role


We are seeking a results-driven Account Growth Manager - Corporate Sales to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, growing existing corporate accounts, and closing new business opportunities.



Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to build and implement territory and account plans, ensuring successful execution of these strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Optimize new regional and national accounts through effective collaboration with the sales team.
  • Manage sales funnels and pipelines to ensure timely conversion of leads into profitable sales.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly budget sales, gross margins, and expense targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and contact potential new accounts within the assigned territory to convert into profitable sales.
  • Maintain and keep current on administration functions for your accounts.
  • Raise customer satisfaction by retaining and growing a defined book of customers in a region.
  • Promote Mark's Commercial in the market by participating in tradeshows, networking events, and social platforms to develop the required network to increase sales and ensure profitability.
  • Lead by example to have productive and professional relationships that ensure the team maintains positive working relationships with internal resources, customers, and vendors.
  • Build strong interactions to all levels inside and outside the organization for long-term success.
  • Communicate regularly with the RSM, team, and other internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional client experiences.
  • Identify sales and marketing opportunities to further awareness of Mark's Commercial with your existing and potential accounts.
  • Represent Mark's to the business community in a professional manner, exceeding customer needs at every opportunity.

About You


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A Post-secondary Diploma with a Major in Business or equivalent with an emphasis in Marketing/Sales Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct B2B sales experience.
  • A proven track record in sales with a customer-centric sales focus.
  • A consultative and proactive sales approach.
  • The ability to work independently with strong self-management skills.
  • Strategic analysis and decision-making skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build and deliver sales presentations.
  • Travel (50%) required within the region; attending quarterly and year-end regional sales meetings and national sales meetings across Canada.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
