Proposal Coordinator and Business Development Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proposal Administrator and Commercial Support to join our team at Egis Canada Ltd-CA. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for proposal development efforts, including researching and sourcing opportunities, maintaining commercial databases, and facilitating vendor registration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and source potential opportunities, including market sounding, expressions of interest, requests for qualification, and requests for proposal across all Egis disciplines and across Canada.
- Maintain and update commercial databases using CRM tools, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Facilitate vendor registration on all relevant websites, ensuring our organization is recognized as a vendor with relevant clients and government agencies.
- Provide support for proposal development efforts, including writing content, formatting documents, creating templates, and submitting proposals on platforms.
- Provide overall administrative support to the commercial team, including maintaining administrative documents necessary for proposal development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in an engineering company, with knowledge of engineering, architecture, construction, infrastructure, or related field terminologies.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal development and bid searching.
- Deductive and analytical skills to identify opportunities that align with the company's goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both French and English.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Deltek is an asset.
- Knowledge of bid searching websites is an asset.
